Brother Edgar is a small-time con man alongside his Mexican sidekick, Morales Pittman.
Driving across Arkansas selling socks allegedly made by blind children, they are discovered by the infamous 20-year-old serial killer known only as The White River Kid. Forcing the nefarious duo on a wild trip across the state, they cross paths with a blind prostitute, a singing Sheriff, and the loveable, laughable Weed family.
And in the process both Brother Edgar and The Kid are transformed by their growing father-son relationship.
