When struggling architectural student Kyle Griffin takes a job at a high-class firm, he is looking for the extra money to pay the rent. He soon finds himself involved in an affair with Barbara Weldon, the wife of the firm's owner. Barbara has some nasty secrets and she introduces Kyle to a dark underworld of voyeuristic sex and sadomasochism. When the dead body of a previous employee is discovered, the case detectives decide that Kyle may be the culprit, although he has a growing realization that he may actually be the next victim.
