The Chase

Convicted of a bank robbery he did not commit, Jack Hammond manages to escape but when he makes a quick stop at a gas station, he is surprised by two cops. With no other recourse, the hapless fugitive takes Natalie Voss hostage with the only weapon he has on hand: a Butterfingers candy bar. Jack then hijacks Natalie's red BMW and a 90-minute high speed chase down the freeway is set in motion, with a convoy of cops, helicopters, would-be road warriors and television camera crews in hot pursuit. Soundtrack includes songs by Suede and Offspring.
